After a brief introduction to the areas geography we will commence on a journey to examine the dynasties of China and Korea, and the changes that occur in Japan.
We have a real challenging read to do in our class. The text material for this section starts on p. 9 and finishes on p. 43 ("The Nature of Manchu Control"). It is probably too much reading for the time we have, so we will be shortening it.
